I learnt more about academic writing by submitting my work to the QPR editorial team than I did in three years of undergraduate study
QUB student twice published in the QPR.
The Queen’s Political Review (QPR) was established in 2012 to provide a resource for academics, professionals and students in the political field. It is a student-led academic journal supported by the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy at Queen’s University Belfast.
The QPR publishes an annual volume in print and electronic format. Articles are selected using a blind peer review process in order to ensure a fair and equitable selection of articles. Articles are invited from students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and early career academics from within Queen’s University Belfast and beyond. The QPR also supports a multi-disciplinary approach, accepting submissions from any discipline considering political issues in the fields of ‘Political Theory’, ‘Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Ireland’; ‘Europe and International’ and ‘Social Issues’.
More information on the QPR’s submission process is available here.
